2007 Christmas Party

So it was party night on Friday the 21st at the Brook Green Hotel in Hammersmith for LB. Thanks for coming, thanks to Jay, Tasha and the staff team for organising it and raising the prizes from various generous sponsors as mentioned across the site. The evening was to celebrate another year of biking together with LB; all the ride-outs, trips abroad, bike meets, trackdays and other events.

Care Center provides for 94 children with its annual Christmas party

On Thursday, the months of planning and work came to fruition as those families were brought together to receive their gifts at a Christmas party at First Baptist Church. I know the Care Center is very grateful to the residents of Saline County for their outpouring of contributions and gifts to make this event possible, said Brenda Burton, the director of the Care Center and an organizer of the Christmas party.

Annual Christmas party

The Arc of Blair County recently held its annual Christmas Party. More than 145 members danced the night away. Shown is John Paul Edmundson of Tyrone dancing with his friends to music provided by DJ IMAJE Productions of Altoona. Delicious food was served to those attending and a visit from Santa followed. MCRTA holds Christmas party

After new members were welcomed, a short business meeting was held before the noon luncheon. A raffle was held to augment a scholarship fund that will benefit Madison County students. Christmas gifts, including poinsettias donated by Lowe’s, were also raffled.

Christmas party is fun for all

By Laura YoungManaging EditorIt was a fun night, which is not unusual for the LeFlore County Federation of Democrat Women.These ladies really know how to give a good time, especially during their annual Christmas Banquet. Just ask LeFlore County Election Board Secretary Phillip Zearley how much fun he had. In recognition of Zearley s birthday, the ladies arranged to have a special guest at the banquet to sing Happy Birthday to him.

Underprivileged kids get Christmas party

SACRAMENTO Christmas is coming early today for about 125 underprivileged children in the area, courtesy of several Russian-speaking businesses. The children some Ukrainian orphans, others from low-income families of all races and nationalities will meet at 4 p.m. in the Russian Plaza at Fulton and Marconi avenues, said Sergei Ivannikov, founder of Sacramento’s Russian American Media company.

Friends of the Elderly toss annual Christmas party

“We have one on St. Patrick’s Day, we do a summer barbecue and then there is the Christmas party,” said Shirley Parker, a board member with the group. “Many people don’t realize that the Council on Aging is a town department and they can’t do any fundraising so that’s where we come in,” she said. To raise funds, the all-volunteer group relies heavily on the goodwill of the townspeople.

Children Delighted with Santa at Governor”s Christmas Party

Governor John deJongh and First Lady Cecile deJongh mingled with the children and teachers, marking the first time in several years the V.I. s chief executive has attended the traditional Governor s Children s Christmas Party. Santa Claus, Governor John deJongh and First Lady Ceclie deJongh pose with school children. The man in red soon made his entrance via a fire truck with sirens blazing, sending the children into a frenzy.

Christmas party!

Dennie Huber, who is better known as Hubie The Magical Clown, hosted his annual Christmas party at the Greenwood Fire Company Sunday night. “I’ve been doing this party for more than 25 years as a way of giving back to the children,” Huber said. Dennie also awards door prizes to children who receive a free raffle from one of Santa’s helpers. From left: Bridgette Gill, Wyatt Gill and Madison Moser, all of Bald Eagle Avenue, Tyrone and of course, Santa Claus and Dennie Huber.
