SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Some of Santa’s helpers are busy getting Christmas stockings together in a Salt Lake City warehouse. Paul Holton, better known as Chief Wiggles organizes Operation Christmas Stocking for troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was in Iraq with the National Guard a few years ago, and knows what it’s like to be away from home for the holidays.
‘њI remember that moment of opening those boxes and looking at the stockings and really felt like we were doing something for everyone back home, and they cared about us,’ќ said Holton. Everything from guitar picks to sunglasses to toothbrushes are welcome.
