Christmas Castle celebrates 15th year of operation

MIDDLEBORO The Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree Program 2008 Toy Warehouse is ready to begin operations in Middleboro and Lakeville. Last year the Christmas Castle’s Angel Tree Program was able to provide new clothing, new toys and Christmas dinner for more than 500 people, 290 of those were children the community.

The program will work with many volunteers, local businesses and contributors to create a prosperous and blessed program for those that need a little extra help during the holiday season again this year. The Salvation Army Christmas Castle uses the Angel Tree program to provide for these families. Many local businesses sponsor a tree to inform the community of the program.

The sponsoring organization also serves as a collection point for the gifts and provides a secure storage until the Salvation Army staff can collect the gifts for distribution. 100% of what is donated and raised for the Middleboro/Lakeville Salvation Army extension unit goes directly back to the community.
