Faulty Christmas Lights Blamed for Fire

West Lebanon, New Hampshire - December 19, 2007 Officials now know what caused a fire in New Hampshire that sent five people to the hospital. Flames ripped through the apartment house on Elm Street in West Lebanon early Tuesday morning. Five people inside a second floor apartment were treated for smoke inhalation at the hospital and were released. In all 14 people are homeless. Investigators say the fire started when some Christmas lights on a second-floor porch shorted out.
