October 09, 2008 An opportunity to create beautiful Christmas decorations for the home or gifts for family and friends is offered at free Ceramics Workshops by the Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department. The workshops will be Nov. 18 and 25, and Dec. 2 and 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Alpharetta Adult Activity Center, 13450 Cogburn Road. On Nov. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m.m participants are asked to preview items to order for the workshop. Christmas green ware as well as other pieces will be available.
