Christmas festival has Victorian flair

Events run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and admission is free. Guests may see magician Professor Cecil Rodney at noon in the Government Center, 4 E. Harrison St. Also at the center, the Lions Club pancake breakfast will begin at 9 a.m., and the Irish troupe Celtic Mist will play from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A free performance of “Rat-punzel” presented by Klingel-Engel Puppets will be at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Visitors may take a free carriage ride in downtown Mooresville or hop on the free trolley to visit other Victorian Christmas activities throughout town. Throughout the day there will be strolling musicians and a visit by Father Christmas. Scrooge and Marley will be at the Chamber of Commerce from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is presented by the Mooresville Revitalization Group.
