Hundreds of lots have been catalogued by staff at Dee, Atkinson and Harrison who will welcome everyone during viewing who has a catalogue with a complimentary glass of wine. Among gift ideas will be diamond pendants, bracelets, earrings, sapphire and diamond rings, ruby and diamond rings, ladies wristwatches, lockets, brooches, and pearl necklaces.

Other lots include an Art Deco walnut eight-piece dining suite comprising sideboard, oval table and six leather upholstered dining chairs, possibly by Epstein; Georgian and William IV mahogany card tables; 19th century mahogany Pembroke tables; a 19th century Dutch walnut and floral marquetry low boy; a baby grand piano by Stradmar; a Victorian walnut whatnot; occasional tables; mahogany chests; gilt wood wall mirrors; mahogany dining tables; Victorian washstand.

For art lovers, oil and watercolours include George Cole, River landscape; Walter Goodin (1907-1992), Bridlington harbour with fishermen unloading the catch; Walter A Beaumont (early 20th century) ‘Early Morning near Windermere’, signed and dated; and Edward Gill, a pair of oils waterfall scenes.

Antiquarian books will also feature in the sale, including The First Book of Architecture by Andrea Palladio, first English edition, 1663, together with ‘The Instructor or Young Man’s Best Companion, 15th edition. Also up for grabs will be a vintage postcard album containing approximately 350 topographical cards, including some local.
