What are you giving for Christmas? It is amazing what we spend on items during the holidays. I spent $75 for decorations for the front of my real-estate office. I wanted the kids to enjoy the decorations for the Windermere Christmas walk. But I didn’t go “all out” for the decorations this year, because the money could be better spent on those who really need it. Last year, I sent out greetings and thanks to clients and customers via e-mail, when I could.
The e-mail told them that they were appreciated throughout the year, and that the money usually spent on gold-foiled Christmas cards was being donated to the Florida Baptist Children’s Home. I am happy to see more companies doing meaningful things like that this season.
