POUGHQUAG - A talk on traditional Christmas symbols will take place at 7:30 p.m. today at the Beekman library. The lecture is sponsored by the Beekman Historical Society. A guest speaker from the Independence Belles will speak about “Christmas Symbols, Legends and Traditions.” Society members are encouraged to bring old Christmas items for show and tell.
