Willa Taylor of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Brooke Worely of Chapman took a final opportunity to shop for Christmas trees Friday at Rogers Christmas Tree Farm on Vaughn Road. The Christmas tree farm stopped selling trees Friday evening. Although it sold trees almost until Christmas Day last year, the business said the reason it closed earlier this year is because it started selling them earlier. The period between Thanksgiving and Christmas was longer this calendar year.
Still, it stayed open long enough for Taylor and Worely, who helped each other pick out trees for Worley’s parents and family and Taylor’s daughter and grandkids.
