Christmas Tree Give-away From TROSA

DURHAM, N.C. – Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers (TROSA) plans to give away Christmas trees to those who can’t afford a tree on Sunday, December 23. For the past few weeks, TROSA has been selling the trees and wreaths as part of their annual fundraiser to raise money to cover costs of their two-year, comprehensive treatment program.

The Tree Give-Away is being offered as a way to help other families in the Durham community who can not afford to purchase a tree for their homes. Trees will be available at the following TROSA Christmas tree lot locations in Durham: 4215 University Drive – Kmart parking lot, 3301 Hillsborough Road – Advance Auto Parts parking lot, Northgate Mall, and The Streets at Southpoint (Grassy area beside Southpoint Cinemas). Donations are requested from those who can afford a tree.

TROSA is a non-profit, two-year residential program serving persons who have addictions to drugs or alcohol. Founded in Durham in 1994, TROSA has steadily grown and is now the largest therapeutic community in North Carolina, currently serving over 400 people. For more information, visit www.trosainc.org .
