ASHEVILLE - Christmas trees can be dropped off for recycling at the following locations after Christmas. Buncombe County Landfill from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday – Friday, and 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday. Memorial Stadium (behind McCormick Field). Trees should be dropped off between Wednesday and Jan. 25. Chips will be available at Memorial Stadium after Jan. 28. Asheville residents can place trees at the curb for recycling. Lights, ornaments and stands should be removed.
