BY SONYA SORICH ssorich@ledger-enquirer.com — – Even if you haven’t already devoured your Halloween treats, don’t be surprised if candy canes enter your mind this weekend. That’s because it’s time for Christmas Made in the South, a three-day arts and crafts festival that will mark its 17th year in Columbus. The event is a good way to ease into your holiday shopping without the chaos of crowded malls and duplicate gifts. It combines craftspeople, art, gourmet food and diverse entertainment.

And if you’re in the mood to start — or finish — your shopping, you’ll have plenty of options designed to please gift recipients of all ages.
