Children from Longroyde Junior School, Rastrick, sing Who Would Imagine a King? for their entry. Our video crew is visiting schools and groups across Calderdale to film one-minute videos of Christmas songs for the competition. The entries will all be posted on our website before we draw up a shortlist. It will then be up to readers to vote for their favourite. The winning group will receive ВЈ200.
So far these are the schools which have entered: Bolton Brow, Walsden Infants, Field Lane Primary, Castlefields Infants, St Andrew’s Infants, Christ Church Pellon, St Mary’s Sowerby Bridge, Elland Church of England, Barbara’s Day Nursery, Sacred Heart, New Road Primary, Gleddings Preparatory, Northowram Primary, Sowerby Village, Parkinson Lane, Ravenscliffe High, Savile Park Primary and West Vale Primary. Their photos and videos will appear in the Courier and on the website shortly.
